Well, it’s not really back.
I see it’s only on few places of the site.
Extending the _js_core_dashboard script to the full site will make it run more smoothly, as it does not require full pages loads.

yeah you are right it makes more sense to load only the content without to load sidebar it should stay so your pages are more clean

What about profile types? Is it too late for phpfox to include which type of profile you want when signing up? Like individual, band, company/ministry, comedian, artist etc..???

What’s wrong with the Chat IM? if you mean server load not alot can be done as AJAX chats by nature are resource hogs. Even if it were changed to use PUSH technology (which is no small task) then it wont really work on low end servers either.
Personally I don’t believe any features will be added before stable so importer might be too much of an ask

Thanks for addressing fixes such as not showing Friend Request when browsing users that are already friends. Please add small avatar of friends at the Email Compose browse window.
So far so good, I will go trough the entire site.
Keep the good work!!!

Hi,
The upgrade from RC6 to RC7 was done last night by your team, and all the information that I had previously done is now lost, I will have to spend hours redoing all my information again as send a mail out to all my users to please re register again, I am very unhappy with this services as it has also corrupted my Database and i cannot even do a back up since RC4, I don’t know what to do even my live site was upgraded and there are on users. The service is disgraceful, we pay alot of money for a program that should work and should not corrupt our database, i haven’t done a back up of my site since RC4 as all the problems on my database come from there….

Hello Ryan,
A backup before an upgrade should always be done, no matter what version/release you are running; but specially running on an RC release, which is stated to not be stable.
What is your ticket ID? I can forward it to our developers. Thanks.

Hey .. great work guys.. i love phpfox….
but there is few things that stooping me to start my site
1) Facebook connect
2) Contacts importer
3) admin option to delete original images
these are a requirements to start a site… i am sure lots of other peoples are waiting for that
[Reply]
People should not upgrade until stable version release. You don’t know all the work you may endup if bug or corruption is done.
But I like the great job phpfox is doing. I can’t wait for stable version to be out!

Question: I am editing categories, etc for various modules. On later updates, it should not effect the categories that I have created, right?
Errors found:
When you try to “Edit” a Subscription. It creates a new subscription inwhich you now have 2. If you choose not for it to be active, it will not even show in categories tree to edit in future.
Photos categories screen was messed up in layout.

Other questions:
1) Can we change the subscription price later on where it can automatically update all existing subscriptions?
2) Can we find a way to charge for marketplace ads?

YEs this would be great ! It would be good to be able to set price for marketplace and those paying ads can be display on top with traffic report stats, clicks, reviews to motivate more members to sell on market.
Also I have a question? If you set a price for subscription what type of service will you sell on subscription? How will you make money on subscrition?

You can set usergroups to have access to certain modules. THe subscription will allow for them to be apart of a usergroup that may have more module abilities.
Group A = FREE. Doesn’t have access to any modules
Group B = $10 a month to have access to all.
Does anyone know how you login to the admin area to test it.??

Stable is estimated to be released December 23rd. You can still run v2 as our Support Team supports it and our developers are working constantly in fixing the bugs.
