Facebook Connect Test
We are going to be including a Facebook Connect module with an upcoming release of phpFox v2 (most likely 2.0.4). We are still working on fixing some quirks, however anyone with a Facebook account is more then welcome to test our FBConnect development site here. If you encounter any problems please report it to us here. In your bug report we ask if you could add the browser you were using when the problem occurred.
Our Facebook Connect module currently does the task of allowing anyone with a Facebook account to automagically log into your site and retrieve as much information as possible while respecting the users privacy (eg. Date of Birth, About Me, Profile Image etc…). The design of this module syncs your site with Facebook so if the Facebook user is logged out of Facebook they will also be logged out of your site.

Looks great but it would be nice if you could select or change your own username on the phpfox site rather than it using your full name from facebook.

I have tested it and seams everything is working ok.
Only the email field is with a : apps+308487282026.1299603474.8
So you must prompt the member when signup for them to enter the email.
In my case it dind’t import the country, I don’t know if it is a bug or the way things are now.
And I loved the way it creates the name and user name without asking for it.

I am glad it is out! The other FB Module from a modder was giving me headaches, I had to find the fix myself. Will test this out.

Just tested it and it works great.
Only feature i would like to see is forum threads… when someone posts in one or creates a new thread it adds it to the users facebook wall ?

I have been watching the forums closely to see what was happening with FB Connect. After trying it out now and seeing it working in action I am even more excited than when V2.0 stable was relelased.

The FB connect worked great. Only thing is I do not know what was used for my phpfox account password?
